ABOUT ME!

Well Howdy!

I am an East Tennessee born Designer, Costume/Wardrobe Technician, and Performer. I have recently ventured out of the south and into New England while working as the Costume Apprentice at Trinity Repertory Company in Providence, RI for their 2024-25 season. During my time there, I have gotten the opportunity to stitch some fabulous costume pieces, work in some of the oldest historic performance venues in the New England area, and learn from some of the best craft atrisans, stitchers, and drapers around.

From a very young age, I knew that I wanted to be involved in the theatrical world, in one way or another. I have been performing onstage since age 7, and still continue to do today, but it wasn't until late into high school that I became interested in costumes.

Since then, I have earned my B.A. in Theatrical Technology & Design (with a focus in Costume Design), and a minor in Visual Art, from Maryville College in Maryville Tennessee. During my time at MC, I wrote a masters-level thesis about the process of costuming for community theatre, which received Exemplary status and was published in the Lamar Memorial Library. I also received the Division of Fine Arts' Evelyn Seedorf Prize in Dramatic Arts three years consecutively which honors the theatre student who has demonstrated the most outstanding achievement in the major field.
